Another foundational concept is the ABC Model, which helps you understand how your beliefs shape your emotions and actions. “A” stands for the activating event, such as a conflict at work or a stressful situation. “B” represents the belief you hold about that event, which might sound like, “I can never get anything right.” “C” is the consequence, the emotional reaction or behavior that follows, such as feeling anxious, angry, or discouraged. I’ll help you recognize these patterns so you can begin to question and shift your beliefs, leading to healthier emotional outcomes.
